The Cockeysville Library is situated adjacent to
Baltimore County's County Home Park and the headquarters of the Baltimore County
Historical Society. This branch opened at its present location in 1982 and was one of the
first library facilities in the nation featuring bookstore display shelving and neon
signage. A quiet study room is a treasured oasis in the midst of a very busy facility. A
large collection of over 180,000 items and a wide range of programs provide enjoyment for
customers of all ages.
